However, like in every enterprise, revenue is necessary to keep in business. Therefore, for the storage of goods in your warehouse, you charge your customers. In 3PL Dynamics we call this storage costs, or storage fees. In what way you charge them is completely up to you and can be done using different calculation methods in your WMS Contract. For example, you can use the maximum position per week or storage fee per location. New storage costs calculation method

By calculating your storage costs per pallet per day, Dynamics calculates per day if a specific pallet was stored in your warehouse in the period you create the invoice for. When you create an invoice over 30 days, 30 lines are shown on the invoice. Each line giving the number of pallets that were stored for that day. In this way, you can calculate a service price per pallet.

Furthermore, we have seen that for some customers creating an invoice can take a while. By using this new calculation method, this is prevented and your invoice is ready in no time. Because this calculation does not use storage cost tables but product items, an invoice that would have taken over an hour will be ready in just a few minutes.
