Efficiently manage resources by focusing on tasks first

Using the standard available functionality of Events & Milestones, your software supports you with activities that need to be executed. As the name suggests, this functionality allows you to add data and times at specific moments on a shipment: the Events & Milestones. Think of the arrival of a shipment at the port, the loading or unloading of a trailer, or the ETA of a flight.

Through these Events & Milestones, you can flexibly automate actions in your FMS. For example, you can send an automatic message to your customer two days before arrival. Or to display a task on your role center before a certain deadline expires. This way, you bring structure to your work without having to check all orders in your system one by one for outstanding tasks.

Assigning tasks to users

In the Forwarding module of 3PL Dynamics, you record the entire trajectory of a shipment. For each trajectory, you can record the most important Events & Milestones via the ‘Events & Milestones’ button as mentioned above. Tasks can be linked to Events & Milestones based on configured service levels or manually and assigned to a user or user group.
